The App connects via Bluetooth LE to G-Tech’s GutCheck electrode patches which measure electrical signals from the gastrointestinal tract. In parallel with this activity, the App provides for entry of various activities such as meals, bowel movements, pain and related activities. In order to use the App, one must enter a password, as G-Tech Medical needs to restrict its usage to its patients and personnel.
